SAINT DAVID and SAINT GEORGE

Saint David Wales Patron Saint is on 1st March. He did miracles, he cured people didn't see and
cured them. Also he did piliginage to Rome and Jerusalem. St. David Day is on 1st March because he died this day when he was 100 years old. In this day in Wales girls dress up like ladies , and boys dress up like miners . The traditional flower in Wales is daffodil. In Wales people eat Wales cakes and this cake have got current inside.

Saint David has a priest, he was famous because he did miracles. He rose up and cured blind and deaf people. He pilgrimaged at Roma and Jerusalem. On 1st March many children dress up with costumes. Boys dress up like miners and the girls like Walles ladies. Daffodil is a tradicional flower on Saint David Day. Leeks is a tradicional vegetable to eat like soup and for dessert they eat Walles cake with currents.

The patron in Britain is Saint David.
He was a priest and did miracles.
One miracle was he rose up the people.
In this day, people go to school or work.
In the school, the students do Eisteddfod.
It is a competition of dance, music, etc.
Children dress up with costumes. The girls
wear a costume of Wales lady and the boys
of miners, because in the past the men
worked in the mines extracting coal.
The traditional food is leek soup and
the dessert is a Wales cake with currents.
The traditional flower is daffodil.
