Holland and The Netherlands

The Netherlands is a country of the European Union (EU). Holland isn't a country, Holland is a province of The Netherlands, similar than Catalonia with Spain. Holland is divided in:  South Holland  and  North Holland. The capital is  Amsterdam, it's in North Holland. 
The people say, the language and the nationality of The Netherlands is Holland, but it isn't Holland, the language is Dutch.

I have seen the video and I was surprised to know that The Netherlands was the whole country and that Holland was a province.

In The Netherlands there are twelve provinces. In The Netherlands there are many canals. The Netherlands are Dutch.

The name of the provinces are: Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland, Limburg, north Brabant, Zeeland, north Holland, south Holland, and the most of  people live in Holland north and Holland south.

Holland is divided in two parts: North Holland and South Holland .Also it is said to the inhabitants of Holland: Dutch.
Holland is like Catalonia in Spain, but this country is called The Netherlands and in Holland there are about 33,000 people approximately.

The name of the country is The Netherlands, no Holland. It's called The Netherlands because this land is under the sea level, The Netherlands have many canals for this reason. The Netherlands was in the origin of the European Union (E.U.) Dutch people live there. They speak Dutch. 

Holland are two provinces of The Netherlands (North-Holland and South-Holland). Amsterdam is the capital of The Netherlands; Amsterdam and others important cities are in Holland.

The Netherlands have got many symbolises: the tulips, the clogs, the windmills the Gouda cheese...

The name of the country is The Netherlands, no Holland. Dutch people live there. They speak Dutch. Amsterdam is the capital of The Netherlands. It's called The Netherlands because the 50% of the land is in the sea level. 

The country is divided in 12 provinces, two of them are North-Holland and south-Holland. Amsterdam and other important cities are located in Holland. For example, Rotterdam that it is the biggest port in Europe. And other important cities like Utrech or Den Haag (The Hague). The government is in The Hague. NL is the number plate.

The Netherlands has got many symbolises: the windmills, the tulips, Van Gogh, The Ajax football team, its flag,  the cheese... Gouda is where the Gouda  cheese is produced.

The population in Amsterdam is of 813562 inhabitants in 2016, and there are 800000 bicycles. So, the most of people has got a bycicle in Amesterdam. The city has got canals. The transport are bikes, boats and tram.

In The Netherlands there is a monarchy. William Alexander is the 2nd youngest king in Europe. Maxima is his wife and she is from Argentina. They have got three daughters, the princesses.  Amalia is the princess of Orange.

The Netherland was in the origin of the EU (European Union) Benelux was the union of the three first countries: Belgium, Netherland and Luxemburg.
