UK

On Wednesday 14th of December some students were to a class to listen to an English lesson, an English lady taught us. She spoke about her country, United Kingdom: she explained that the Britain's flag is known as Jack Staff because is the union of the three countries of the UK: England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Wales is not represented on the flag because they have a dragon in their flag.
Then she explained about the British Royal Family. The members are the Queen and the Duke of Edinburg, the prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince Williams and his wife Catarine, duchess of Cambridge.
Also she explained about the village has the longest place name in Europe and one of the longest place name in the world. The village's name is Lllanfairpullgwyngyllgogerychu

We did...

On Wednesday we went to the library and a nice girl spoke about her personality and her city. She is an English teacher of Burlington Books.
She is from Southampton. This city is known for Titanic and there is a very big Port. I learnt the flags and the traditional things.
When a person answered one thing correctly, she gave a present (a pen) to the person who said:
UAW !!
She prepared questions, and we had to choose A, B, C or D. We had papers with the letters and we have to raise the hand and show the letter.
Finally, she chose a person and this person did a contest and the others couldn't help her, well only once. But she had another possibility: phone the girl's mum or fifty-fifty. It was interesting and we laugh a lot!

On Monday 12th one girl from Burlington Books came. She's from Southampton. She explained the more important thins of UK. She asked us and if you answered well, she gave you a pen.
I learnt:
- UK has has got four countries.
- The flag of UK consists of the countries: Scotland, England and North Ireland.
- Wales isn't in the flag because it has got a dragon and they didn't like it.
And then I played I want to be millionaire and I won one notebook because she hadn't got any money.
