On 19th March I did a trip to Empordà with my school.
First, we went by bus to an old monastery in Sant Pere de Rodes. There, a guide explained us many interesting things about people that lived there many years ago: the activities that they do, their jobs in the monastery… He explained us that important people sent their children there to be educated, because there they learned to read and to write. We saw an old bell tower but there wasn’t the bell because pirates stole it. The most of the walls were modern but we could see some originals walls.
When we finished the monastery’s visit we went to Figueres to visit Dalí’s Museum. But first we had lunch and then we walked around the town waiting to get into the museum. Finally, we started the visit of the museum.
There, we saw Dalí’s famous paintings and our guide explained us curios things about his life. Most of his paintings were inspirited of his wife, Gala. The museum was an ancient theater that burned years ago. All the museum was unusual, like him.
There was an old car and it rained inside! One of my favorite room was a dark room with a representation of a woman (Mae West) using the different parts of a living room: the eyes were paintings, the lips a sofa, the curtains her hair… But what I liked in the room was a strange hole behind the eyes, where I saw what Dalí thought that a person has in his head.
I loved this trip because I spent great time and because it was very interesting. My favorite part of the day was the visit of Dalí’s museum, because I know some of his paintings and it was incredible to see them in real life.

Excursion
The day 19th March we went to a trip.
First we went to the monastery Sant Pere de Rodes. We ate breakfast before going there, because we were almost two hours by bus and we were hungry. Then we went inside and a man came to explain what there were in the monastery. He taught us all the parts of the monastery. It surprised me because it seemed small but to enter I saw all the rooms. I saw that it was very big. The truth is that I thought it was boring, but I liked it.
Then we arrived to Figueras and we ate.
After we went to the Dali museum. It had so many paintings I really liked the paint that you could look from to mobile phone. It was another thing than we saw with your eyes. The museum was very big and nice. Dali is buried right in the middle of a room of the museum.

First we went to the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, there were amazing views, and very beautiful landscapes. In the monastery we were separated by classes, and there was a monitor for each class. Our monitor explained us the history of the monastery and we walked around the place.
Later we went to Figueres, first to eat and then we went to Dali's Museum. Figueres is so beautiful. My friends and I bought an ice cream. It was delicious!
Then we spoke with japanese people, they are very funny people! We love Japan!
Finally we went to the Dali's Museum, in this museum there are a lot of things. Dalí was a great artist, all of his paintings are fantastic. In the garden there are many statues, all with a meaning. In a room there are a representation of Mae West in 3D. It's awesome! In the Palace of Wind there is a very big painting on the ceiling. In this painting there are many details. And there is a painting of Gala, his wife. She looks like a very attractive model. And finally in this room there is a statue of a girl, a perfect girl.
