Easter is celebrated becouse of the resurection of Jesus in Christianity. When some people cricificated Jesus, locked him in the cave with a big rock, and three days later the rock was opened and Jesus wasn't inside.
On Easter Sunday, the British children look for hard boiled eggs that their parents hide, but in Catalonia the godfather gives to his godchild an Easter egg and the godmother gives
to her godchild a type of a cake called "tortell", similar than Hot Cross Buns.
We can decorete Easter cakes with chicks, chocolate Easter eggs, and chocolate bunnies. And sometimes we can decorate them with colorful feathers, too.
In the UK you can buy hot cross buns. At Easter time I don't usually eat these things, I only have a family dinner and my aunt brings an Easter cake.
