YEAR 2012 - 2013

Reflections on my 1st ESO English Portfolio

There are three more better sheets in my portfolio: a writing of a weekend, the tittle is Last Weekend, and I chose a Skills Test and a reading of a book, a yellow sheet.

I chose the writing because I learnt the past simple of the verbs and because I had a great time when I explained this.
I chose the reading of a book in the yellow sheet because I liked the book and I've got a good mark.
I chose the skills test because in the part of writing I did a plot and I explained a book that I liked, and because I had a good mark, too.

This year I choose the portfolio because the last year I had a portfolio and I liked it. Also because I have got sheets of last year and I can use the vocabulary and grammar.
Judith Ascanio, 2nd A

I choose the three best sheets of my English portfolio in 1st ESO. I choose two Language Tests and one My Readings.
I choose the two Language Tests because they are the best tests in my English Portfolio. And I choose My Readings because this book Omega File I liked. And I have a good mark.
I choose the note book because it is more comfortable than the portfolio.

Ivan Rodrígez, 2nd A

The last year was the first year I used an English portfolio, and we did a lot of sheets. I think I did it well because my portfolio was tidy and I didn't break up. The portfolio was very good to study.
This year Nuria said that we are not going to do so many sheets than the last year, so I decided to do a notebook because it's more comfortable, I am not going to waste so many sheets.
Rocío Bueno, 2nd D

Last year I learnt with the English portfolio many things.I learnt reading, listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar.
I choose one language test because my mark is a 10, I did all things very well and it is my best mark.
The second sheet that I choose is one reading (Street Food) it is the first that I did last year. My mark is excellent.
The third sheet that I choose is one writing (Last Easter) because my mark is an 8, it is my best mark in writing.
This year I'm bringing the portfolio too, because the English portfolio last year was very well for me.
Mireia Herrero, 2nd B

Last year we used a portfolio to put all the work. We had different labels: vocabulary, grammar, listening, writing... It was a good idea to have a tidy portfolio and we didn't need a workbook.

I think the best sheets are: Last School Trip, a writing, because I liked the "unit" about I spoke and I had a good mark. Next I chose a listening of Burlington Books because  I laughed a lot, I liked it. And finally the reading of the book Sister Love because I liked the story. It was very interesting, I understood all the words and I had a good mark, too.

I want to use the English portfolio
again because it helps me a lot. I didn't have any problems and I think it's a correct way to have all the sheets tidy.

Berta Arcos, 2nd D

Last year we had to use an English portfolio. First, it was a little bit difficult but then, it was very easy to order the sheets.
My favourite was speaking because I always did it with Rocio, and we both had a good English, so it was fun.
I choose three sheets, one it's the speaking Reading Circles, I chose it because I was the Connector and it was very difficult. The other is a reading, I chose it because I had a ten and I was very happy because I didn't hope it. And the last one is the skill test. I choose this one because I improved the before skill test.
I want to continue the portfolio this year because I think it's better to find the sheets and to order them.

Jade Lam, 2nd D

I choose the following  Portfolio activities: speaking and reading. Writing is the essay that I called Yesterday.
Speaking is about the book The Horse of Death, Reading is about the story "Sister Love".

I prefer Yesterday's essay because I didn't make any mistakes. I prefer the "House of Death" because the text is very long and elaborated. The speaking is also very structured.

I hope to have a good second year and get good marks.I want to learn more this year and improve my level of English.
Marc Frigola, 2nd C

I liked my first ESO portfolio because I found all the tittles in their place and I learnt more with the portfolio then with the note book.

In my first ESO portfolio, I chose readings because I took good marks. I chose my exam because I took my best good mark in English. I chose the speaking the Reading Circles because I liked the stories of the bookworms.

In  second ESO I'm going to choose the portfolio because I do better without the notebook. This course I will try to have an excellent in English!
