I think about my project and I think it's good, because I studied it a lot. I find a lot of information with the computer. I don't send the project with mail because is not difficult explaining a project. I'm very happy with the result.

Places in La Selva

JOEL GUTIÉRREZ, 1st C

 

The first place I want to talk is Santa Coloma de Farners, because it’s the capital of La Selva. I don’t know Sant Coloma, because I go for playing football with my team. 

 

One day of the last week, I went to Riudellots because my brother plays football in a Girona team and I go at the shopping centre in Girona with my mother. 

 

I go to Tossa de Mar in summer for swimming in the sea with jellyfish and fish.

The other place I want to talk is Caldes. In winter Caldes is very quiet, but in summer there are many tourists and Catalan people. Lloret de Mar has got one hundred and six hotels, because Lloret is very big.

It’s similar to Blanes. I live in Blanes. It’s my favourite place in la Selva. Blanes has got incredible places. La Palomera is an incredible place. Is a big rock and people climb on la Palomera, because they want to take a picture. Blanes has got seven hotel. This is not similar to Lloret.

My favourite corner of Blanes is Sant Joan. It’s a castle. From Sant Joan I can see all Blanes and I can take many pictures. Next to the Sant Joan there is a the Botanical garden Marimurtra. It’s got many types of plants.

Every week I go to the centre of Blanes. It is similar to a shopping centre, because there are many shops and restaurants. My father has got a restaurant in the centre of Blanes. Its name is Va de Catas. It has got very good food.

In la Selva, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar and Blanes are in Costa Brava. We’ve got many beaches. My favourite beach in Blanes is la Palomera, it is a good beach.

In Blanes there are eleven schools. I study in IES. S’Agulla, this is my favourite school.

I live in the Selva region, concretly in Blanes. 
My favourite place in Blanes is the beach because it's very funny swimming into the sea and we can play with the sand.

The beaches in Blanes are very beautiful at night with the moon and the stars int the sky.

I love the fireworks in summer it`s a contest. The fireworks are very pretty and I like hearing the sound they do. 

The  comarcal library is an interesting place to visit. There are a lot of books and many computers. You can find information, use the computers, etc.

You can visit the centre, too. There are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. At Christmas there are many lights in the streets and on 6th January we celebrate the Wizards Kings' Day.

SUEMY LAM, 1st D:

In la Selva, there are many towns with a lot of places to visit. For example in Santa Coloma de Farners, the capital, there is an old very beautiful castle or in Tossa, a little town, there are many interesting places to go with the family. But Blanes is my favourite town of la selva because I live there.

What do I like to do in Blanes is to walk along the beach with my friends and in summer, swim in the sea. But if you don’t like the beach, you can walk around the centre of Blanes or visit the St.  Juan castle and see the fantastic views of the port and Sa Palomera rock. If you like plants you can visit the Marimurtra botanical garden.

Lloret, Tossa and Blanes are the only ones with sea and Blanes and Santa Coloma de Farners are the two towns in la Selva with more population.

There are a lot of interesting things to do and visit in places of la Selva. 

IVAN CONTRERAS, 1st B:

I live in Blanes, in the region of the Selva. It’s a town and I love it. Blanes has got many interesting places. There is one cinema and many restaurants.

Sa Palomera is a big rock in the middle of the beach. Sa Palomera is between Blanes and Los Pinos. When you go up in Sa Palomera you see an iron fence with a lot of padlocks hanging on it. When a person is in love hangs a padlocks there with the name of his or her lover.

My favourite place is the bowling. I usually go with my family to the city centre. I think Blanes is a quieted place and a lovely place, too.

PATRICIA CANO, 1st B:

My town is Blanes and it is in the region La Selva and it’s the first town of the Costa Brava. Blanes is a very touristic place because is surrounded by beaches and mountains. As well as, it has got a Mediterranean weather. And how is located in Catalonia, the language is Catalan and Spanish.

Blanes has got many interesting places to visit, like the Sant Joan castle, the botanical garden, Sa Palomera rock and Santa Maria church.

In summer, Blanes becomes a holidays place because it has got a good weather, restaurants, shops, hotels, discos, camp sites, beaches, ports, skate parks, a port, etc.

Also in summer is celebrate a great local festival, it is called “Festa Major”, with fireworks, two fun fairs, concerts where children and adults enjoy.

Blanes is a beautiful place with history and diversity of people and where the people live happily. There are many activities to do like football, fishing, skating, basketball, etc.      

LUÍS RAMÍREZ, 1st B:

I live in La Selva, a region of Catalonia in the costa brava. I live in a small town, Blanes in which there is Sa Palomera, a giant rock, and there is also the famous castle of Sant Juan.

Lloret is also in La Selva, it is bigger tan Blanes. In Lloret there are many parties and clubs, many tourist come to visit, so here there are many hotels.

Santa Coloma de Farners is the capital of the region of La Selva where is the district council.

Tossa is a village, that has a castle with beautiful views of Blanes.

Vidreras is a small town that is next to Lloret.

Sant Hilari is also in La Selva, and it is a famous town because its mineral wáter it is used to make bottle water as Viladrau.ALEJANDRA TORRECILLA, 1r A:

  

I live in La Selva, the capital town is Santa Coloma de Farners. I live in Blanes, it's a town. Blanes has got interesting places to visit.

There is Sa Palomera rock to see the beach. There is a bowling, this is fantastic because I play with my friends, and this is very funny!

There is Sant Joan castle on the hill. There is a big cinema next to Caprabo.

There are two botanical gardens "Pinya de Rosa" and "Marimurtra". There are shops in town centre: clothes shops, pet shops, shoes shops, bakeries...

There is a hospital; there are three stadiums and two sport centres. There are restaurants, but my favourite is "Abrasas", because, it's has good food. It's the restaurant next to Mercadona.

There is a theatre, before, it was a cinema and there at
e beautiful hotels.

Blanes is in Costa Brava, next to Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar.
