Our Ex-change with the Dutch

ASHA, 2nd B:

Two weeks ago, Dutch students came to do an exchange with INS S’agulla students.

I met Anniek, she was the girl who was in my house.

When she arrived, we went to have dinner in the restaurant Mossega’m.

The next day, she did activities around Blanes, there were traditional games like races and search monuments of the town.

On Wednesday Dutch students went to visit Girona with their teachers. When they arrived, we went to Blanes centre with Camila and her Dutch student. We visited shops and we bought “ xurros” with chocolate, too.

On Thursday evening we went all the students to have a dinner, and celebrate the exchange what we did. After that, we went to the Bowling alley to have a good time.

On Friday morning we went to the bus station, because the Dutch students came back to The Netherlands.

The next June we are going to do an exchange with Dutch students. We are going to travel by plane, I think is going to be exciting!! They told me their country is very cold.

And the most people usually go to the school by bike.

I think we are going to visit a lot of places, and we are going to have fun too.

Hello, I’m Azahara!

Now I’m speaking about the Duchts students,specifically my girl Suzanne.

The Dutch students came last Monday. They stayed for four days.

They arrived on Monday at half past nine in the evening, they travelled by aeroplane and by train.

The second day was a normal day, they came to the high school at the same hours than us but the last hour we went to the library and we played board games with them. When they finished the school, all people of my class went to Mc Donald’ s. When we finished to eat, my mother came and took, us to Sa Palomera rock, because we met with all the people and the teachers, there. All the Tuesday afternoon, we were in the Blanes town centre, because we played one gymkhana.

On Wednesday the day for catalan people was normal, but Dutch students went to Girona, and when they arrived at the train station, the rest of the day we stayed at home and at half past six I went to flamenco’ s class with her.

On Thursday they went to San Joan castle and to San Fransesc beach and they swam in the sea with the 4rt ESO students. In the afternoon we went to the centre of Blanes and bought clothes in Stradivarius , and souvenirs for her family. After we went to S’ Agulla because there was one party. At night all the people went to the bowling alley.

Friday was the last day, we went to the bus station at half past eight in the morning.

This experiencie was very incredible for me!

BRUNO, 2nd A:

My Dutch is Jesse Mouse and he lives in Drachten.

When my mother and I went to the railway station, we picked him up. Gonzalo, Iker and I went to eat a pizza and then we went home.

The next day Jesse and I went to school, in the afternoon we went to a gimcana, then Iker, Gonzalo, Kevin and our Dutchs went to Mcdonalds.

The next day we went to school and Jesse went to visit Girona and then went to Blanes and then at 5:00 o’clock went to a football field and played a match, Netherlands vs Spain, then we went home.

The next day we went to school, and went home to eat,then we played a game playstation 3, and again we went to the football field. At 6:00 o’clock we went to my home because we needed to prepare for the farewell. When we were ready, went to the farewell.

After the party, some students went to the farewell, after we went to the bar. Last we went to leave them in the bus station, and they left.

I am going to Drachten by aeroplane. I think we are cycling a lot. I am wishing to be there. I am sure we are enjoying the travel and to live a great experience.

It is the first time I’ll travel abroad alone without my parents.

Easter in Britain

Easter changes every year.The Thursday of Easter is Thursday Munday and the queen of England gives money to old people.

There are red purses for special coins and the white purses for normal coins.The queen will got to Leicester Cathedral 91 men and 91 womens old will go to cathedral for helping other people.

The Friday of Easter is Good Friday is the day of God.

The Bristish eat a lot of chocolate eggs and make beautiful structurs.The important animal  are bunnies and chickens and also Brisitish do chocolats eggs and inside there are candies.

When the children at Easter go to school wear stro hat, it is a Easter Bonnet and in the schol do the competitons.The hat decorate with nest,bunny,..In England lot of people get married at Easter.

Aiguamolls de l'Empordà

I have just arrived of the trip, I liked it very 

much because I saw a lot of animals, a lot of 

special and very beautiful birds. We entered 

to a lot of bird-watching-stations and we 

learned the history about the Aiguamolls, 

too. 

We had a men as guide that explained all the things very well, 

the most interesting thing for me was what were the birds 

saying with their songs. I have watched a lot of types of birds that I 

have never seen before. We walked through the country and we 

went up of a tower to see all the landscape. For me, the journey by 

bus was very long, but talking about the trip I want to do 

it again. The thing that I loved of this trip was have seen flamingos, 

my favorite animal.

Emma, 2nd B

We will go by bus at Aiguamolls of Empordà. We will arrive in Blanes at 3 o’clock. We will see a forest and a natural park, a wildlife sanctuary and protected environment. In the natural park, we will see ducks, birds, fish, squirrels and insects. The birds of natural park come from Africa and it is a migratory route bird migrate. And we will see many storks in their nests. We are going to rent binoculars to see birds on bird-watching stations.

When we arrived, some men explained us what we were going to see and we must not make noises because the animals are going to scare. We rented binoculars to see the birds in bird-watching stations. We have seen storks and when they arrived on the their nests, they greet each other. We have seen ducks and some ducks were diving, we have seen a frog and we have seen white flamingoes. Some ducks have eaten fish.

We will go to the Aiguamolls de l'Emporda, it is in the province of Girona, and it is a natural park. We will go because it's part of the “Treball de Sentesis” and we will have to explain we will see and do. We will go by bus and the bus will leave at 8 o'clock in the morning and we will com back at 3 o'clock. 

We have gone to Aiguamolls de l'Emporda. When we arrived, we had breakfast in the forest and we had about half time.

Then a guide has explained us the path that we will make and the guy gave us binoculars for every three people,also we have gone walking. First the guy explained us waht is an Aiguamolls: water means that there are any lakes or Moll means there are wet land.

We followed the path and we have seen storks and we colud see the nests of storks. And the guy explained that the nests of storks can weigh like a cow or more. The storks have a thin and long beak. Also we have been in observatories where there were any turtles, also we saw for example:ducks,…

A duck with green neck and more,but I don't remember their names. Also we saw he colour white falmigoes because they were young.

After we followed walking and in the puddle we found the American Locust. In Aguamolls de l'Emporda also there is a hospital for wild animals to care of hurt animals.

Finally we finshed the route and had a quarter of hour for eating. There were many animals.

The experince is unforgettable and I've learned a lot.

On Monday 3rd of April I will gobybus to the Aiguamolls d’Empordà.

The teachers who will go are Maria Jose, Mrs Reichardt, Luis and Maribel. I will sit with my best friends on the bus. When I am there, we will go to the observation stations because we will see the birds. The main bird there is the stork.

We will also visit the wildlife park while we are there. Also, we will walk along the path, so we can see the birds and the vegetation. Maybe, we will be able to see the birds with binoculars. If it doesn’t rain, we will see the ducks and the storks. Perhaps, we’ll go for a swim. Finally, these places are near Roses.

Yesterday, we went to Aiguamolls d’Empordà. We went by bus. When we were there, we ate the breakfast in a park, after they separated us for class. After my class went to a room and our monitor, Cesc gave binoculars for groups to five people because we went to see the birds there. He explained about a lot of birds during the tour, that the birds are: Stork, Flamingo, Duck and he explained a lot about this birds: Greabe, Egretes, coot, Agro, Parrot, Harrier, Long Legs, Egret… We saw these birds in a observatory with the binoculars but we should be quiet.

Also, Cesc has expained about the plants in there, for example rush an “ Balca”.

Also, when we were in front of the cows, Cesc has spoken about the trees there.

“Om”, “Freixa” and “Alber”.

Om was dead because there are too Beetles that kill him that’s why they put “Freixa” to replace it,

Also,we have seen the nests of storks.

Finally, we went to a tower where we could see everything of Aiguamolls d’Empordà.

Experiences with a Pet

Hi! I'm Ainhoa, and today I'm explaining to you one of my favourite experiences with my dog. He's Rey, he's 4 years old and this experience was 2 or 3 years ago. We were at home, and my father decided to put a legging to our dog, we did it and it was very funny, we were always laughing. I love Rey!

My cousins have got a parrot, a beautiful red and blue animal. Last year, in Summer we were in my grandma's house playing with it and suddenly the animal put a poop on my leg, I started to shout and to became very angry. Opposite my cousins didn't stop laughing. I learned that I mustn't play with this bird.

Lucy was my pet dog. I got her for my eleventh birthday, so I have had her for three years. I adopted Lucy.

We're played together with my family.

About three years ago. I got a walk with her, (four times every day).

Lucy died with nine years.

About 6 years ago, I was in a summer camp house  with my school. We went to a field and there were horses. Spme teachers helped us to ride them. I don't remember well, but I think I was scared. I learned that horses are peaceful and that they eat grass. I think I haven't ridden a horse again and I haven't had any other experience with another animal.

Lua is my dog. I got her when I was seven years old because my grandparents bought a dog in carrefour supermarket. This dog was very funny. It's my favourite dog for me and for my brother, too.

When I was in a summer camp in Camprodón, I went to ride a horse, and I fell, because I went faster than I knew, because I didn't know anything about ridding horses. It was so funny and my friends and I were so well.
